Old Billingsgate

Of the prestigious events venues we have the privilege to work in, Old Billingsgate is one of the most versatile. It offers attractive period features and three, distinctive 'blank canvas' spaces that make it a fantastic place for an event.

Built in Victorian times as the world's largest fish market, it's grand architecture next to London Bridge makes it a distinctive landmark to this day. It can be seen from far around, although the very first structure was demolished only 23 years after its initial construction. Over the years renovations have provided architectural and organisational improvements. Today it serves as a popular hall for all manner of uses.

The Grand Hall exposes its arches and pillars, with lighting rigs stretched helpfully across the expansive domed ceiling. Exhibition lighting is something we excel at, providing a unique combination for each project to achieve just the right result. Another striking part of this building is The Vault, featuring low, curved ceilings between brick arches. As well as large dinners, wedding receptions and commercial exhibitions, conferences here are frequent. We can tailor a package to meet your needs and set the right tone every time, whether you need a bespoke shell scheme stand, a conference booth or something else entirely. For an intimate presentation The Gallery is perfect. White panelled walls create a customisable backdrop primed for lighting and effects. Although long and narrow, it is filled with light by pale overhead beams.
